Xtreme restorations? that's gotta cost a bundle but I cant wait to see the results! Gonna be one of the nicest around. You going to keep the original color?

Before it was shipped to the UK (is the previous owner out there?):

Looks lovely! You run a driveshaft with 3 u-joints? Where did you get the piece just behind the transmission?

Hi Csaba, the whole propshaft was made by a company in the UK, 'Bailey Morris Ltd'. You can see more pictures of the transmission on my thread here: http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... 0&start=45

You will see the company's sticker on the propshaft in one of the pictures. Also, as the rubber doughnut has been omitted its job is now done by a rubber sandwich between 2 tubes in the rear section of the shaft. This can take far more power and will not break which is a possibility with the doughnuts.

I probably posted one years ago. Here's how she looks today...

Image

1977. I've owned her since 1988. Had her painted (in the original color) in the early `90s. Put on the Panasport wheels about the same time. Since then, apart from the new top and boot cover three years ago, just maintanance and largely unseen changes like new A arms and replacing the rusting gas tank.
