Re: What would you give me for it?
Well, the ad on Craigslist (http://medford.craigslist.org/cto/5159726830.html) shows $4500. Looks like it has a lot of potential. No luggage rack (+), no body side molding (another +), looks like it still has wing window latches (+), desirable wheels (+++). Concerned about rust. Hopefully it runs/shifts/brakes and hasn't had an infestation of any kind. Not sure if I can justify $4500 with a lot of unknowns, but if you want to give it a home in the desert PM me and let's talk.

Remember that the '71 has extremely rare, unique rear light assemblies. They are a little longer than 70, 72-74, so if trashed, a little sheet metal work will allow the accommodation of the more common year. If truly rust-free and complete, $3k would be a good number for a restoration project.

That's a lot better looking than a "project". Did you buy it?

Re: What would you give me for it?
Yep, was dumb enough to get it, no rust to speak of, 45 year old paint seems like all original but the shitty top. Might be a keeper.
I'm not a "must keep all original" kinda guy so if anybody really wants it I'm open to offers once I clean it all up and fix the little things.
