Hi there folks,
Is there anyone out there who has done a twin carb conversion on their 1800? I've got twin 40mm EMPIs going onto a RHD Spider with the Allison intake and would LOVE to see some detailed pics on how you set up your linkage to finish the accelerator cable to the carbs?
Also, did you run the cable to the end or middle between the carbs, what's best?
Regards,
David

Re: Twin carb linkages for RHD Spider
Hi David,
I have a 1756cc spider with dual 40 IDF's on a RHD car. I bought only a few months ago. It has the cable running to rear of the engine, with some form of linkages connecting the two carbies. I have the turtleback air cleaner off at the moment for a timing belt change, so should be able to take some photos for you. I am not sure about posting the photos here, but, if I get your personal email address from you, via a personal message, then sending the photos will not be a problem. My setup seems to work well, but I think that I need to have a stronger return spring between the two carbies.
Please let me know if you want some photos, as I see that it was a while since you posted the question.
Cheers,

Hi Dave,
I have it all back together now, but still should be able to get some pics for you. Give us a few days, as we are on grandparent duty here at the moment.
