Missin the forum..

Post by radiopilot »

Hello everyone,

I apologize for not being on the forum lately, I have been very busy in my business and been traveling quite a bit.

I am currently in Los Alamitos, CA and as such will be returning back to Savannah for about a week, then returning again to Los Alamitos before going to Shanghai, China on an aircraft program for which my company has significant engineering on.

I'll be gone 8 weeks there and 2 weeks home in Savannah unless I'm required in Los Alamitos , then back again to Shanghai for 8 weeks again repeating the cycle till mid 2013.

So for those reasons I have a week to try to get George's clocks done and sent to him right away since I've held on these the longest on restoring them... I apologize for any emails I've not been able to answer... I've not driven my Spider in over a year and sure do miss the car and hanging out on the forum. :(

I'll try to answer the emails when I can but work has taken precedent over anything else and I'm sure anyone with a business knows full well what that means.

Good part is my condo is already there waiting for me in Pudong and it''s beautiful, I'm fortunate that all costs including airfare (as much as I want to travel to and from the States) is paid for, an exclusive expense account so nothing comes out of my pocket will definately be a nice touch while being away from home. :D

If all goes well in Shanghai then it is on for Milan, Italy or Barcelona, Spain for the same contract and terms in 2013-2014... definately would like Milan but also want to be in Barcelona to meet some of my relatives... WOW I think my ship came in! :D 8)

Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick, good to hear from you. Busy is a good thing as the opposite usually does not pay the bills.
I trust the family is well now.

Hello Nick
I am new to this forum and have seen good things about your gauge repairs.
I was wondering If you still do the work.
I have a clock that needs attention.
Thanks, Spiderguru

Welcome back Nick Great to hear all is well. I just commented to my wife yesterday how our Spiders clock has worked flawlessly all these years and that I didn't know what became of you. You are the best.

Unfortunately Nick has not been here for years. Take a look at the dates....4 years ago?
If you can still contact him somehow, I'll vouch for his clock repairs.
I believe Mark sells a new replacement clock for our cars.
