Re: still for sale
The car does look great, but when you consider what else you could buy in the UK for that amount, I don't think the Fiat would be someone's first choice.
Not sure having a model in front of the first photo will help?

Re: still for sale
That car has been around for a few years now. People forget and buy it to flip and then have to keep reducing the asking price. Be nice if someone actually invested some money into fixing the bumpers along with some of the other issues with the car. The money spent on the girl probably would had payed for a good number of those repairs.

After no bites in England after asking 24,000.00 GBP, I guess its back to NA for $19,000.00.
They bought it for $9200USD I believe...

Re: still for sale
Chris,
I'm pretty sure this was the car on Restoration Garage, where Paul, the son of the owner, David Granger, went with his father to an auction to learn to buy and flip cars. They made a big thing about he was using his young son's "college fund" for the cash. Anyway he bought three cars, the Spider, which looked real good but they hardly showed it, a decent 911 and some other car, I forget. I was thinking he paid $12K but maybe it was $9.5, either way how much did he think he could flip it for? Didn't make sense, though it is a nice looking small bumper car.
The Porsche he flipped successfully but nothing further was said of the Spider. On the opening credits you could see it parked in front of the store, I think they still use that opening shot.
So then it pops up on Ebay with this reseller out in St. Louis and they want $20K. Its now been on and off Ebay for the last year, sometimes with a preposterous "buy it now" price, and sometimes just an auction, but the bidding never gets above $6K or so.
Makes you wonder about all the buying and selling and auctioning going on. Its almost like they just buy and sell each other's cars. I still think the whole Barrett-Jackson/Mecom auctions and the rest of it is just one big bubble waiting to burst. I mean is a hemi cuda convertible really worth $3 1/2 million? Resto mod chevys, even nice ones, $100,000? I don't get it, but what do I know?
Saddest thing is they don't even drive them, wouldn't dare. Just park them for a while then sell them again. Sounds like fun.

Still haven't fixed the bent bumper and want a museum piece/collection price for a road car with stone chips.

Re: still for sale
If my conversion rate math is correct that comes to $32,700.00 US plus fees for a car that does not have working windshield wipers.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
