Question about the VIN stamp
Question about the VIN stamp
Hey guys! Had a quick question about the '61 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet barn find I'm restoring. Aside from the VIN plate in the engine compartment, I know most car makers usually stamp the VIN somewhere else directly onto the frame. Would any of you happen to know where that might be on a '61 1500 Cabriolet?

Re: Question about the VIN stamp
I don't know about the 1500 Cab, but on most Fiats the stamping is somewhere close to the ID tag in the engine compartment.

Re: Question about the VIN stamp
Ah, cool! I found it. The previous owner had accidentally painted over it. Thanks!
