Fiat x19

Looking for some advice . I found an 75 x19 it doesn't run, body looks in fair shape not much rust, interior is rough but fixable. It was last licensed in 2003 owner said thinks the fuel pump is not working but will run if you put gas in carb. Owner wants 2500. I think that's way too much. Any thoughts what would you pay?

the 75s are sought after in Calif since they don't have to be smogged but that price seems high for the condition you describe. For whatever reason, X's don't demand high prices even when in excellent condition
