Actually FiatFqctory I do. Crazy loud and was pretty sure it was 2 or 3 on the intake. I thought it might be AUX timing , but triple checked on build and retimed the cams 3x after.

SoCal - definitely running better with 3 exhausts set to spec and the one intake at least reduced some!!
FiatFactory - you could very well be right on the bent valve/head on a flat surface issue. I don't recall how it was transported etc, but I could easily see that happening. Can't recall what I did during the motor rebuild, but I'd guess 1 and 4 were on TDC and the cam wheels roughly at position - i know better than to freewheel the cams during build especially with popup 8mm domed pistons. I had the head off a year or two back to look for any piston kiss (none observed) and attempt to verify no AUX shaft issues - could have banged a valve during that take/off as well...

This'll be the third major motor repair this summer.
1) K5 Blazer with blown head gasket and cracked block... :(
2) 2nd K5 Blazer with blown head gasket and now hydrolocked on start :(
3) Fiat with head that needs to come off...

I think i know which the easiest is out of the bunch.

Still gotta order a couple of shims. Thinking about just buying a whole set off ebay
