Got my 32/36 DFEV in and comparing it to the photos I got from some other guys to help me plan my install, I noticed mine has an extra hole drilled into it and a hose fitting where theirs was just metal. Based on the size and location I am guessing it is going to provide constant vacuum and I can hook my brake booster up here direct to the carb, instead of to the intake manifold like others have done. Am I correct in this assumption? It is the large hose barb next to the fuel input.
If I am right, would this be a better place to connect the brake booster to? Any reason I would want to still have it go to intake manifold? If not, I guess I'll just remove that vacuum tee from the manifold and plug that too. Then I should have zero connections at intake manifold.
Thanks.

Re: Fitting on DFEV
You do not want it attached to the carb. It attaches to the manifold position only.
