10 reasons that I like my Fiat better than people

1. My Fiat never talks back
2. My Fiat is always there when I need it
3. My Fiat puts a smile on my face every time I step back and look at it
4. My Fiat plays the music that I like best
5. My Fiat goes wherever I want and never argues
6. My Fiat stops when I want it to stop and goes when I want it to go
7. My Fiat can be insulted and joked about and it doesn't care
8. My Fiat always makes it pretty obvious when it is unhappy
9. My Fiat does not retaliate If I get mad at it
10. My Fiat makes me look cool

I'd not replace friends/family with my Fiat, but there are times it is a lot less work.

Interesting post. I agree with 3, 4 & 10. However, number 8 seems to contradict the remaining six out of 10. My FIAT, and I love these little cars, can act just like a red headed Italian women (wait, is that a racist comment directed at my Mom). She is awesome 99% of the time. She has her little flaws but they are overcome by personality and style. Even when things a running perfectly smooth and she is properly attended too, out of the blue she might decide to surprise you with some small argument. Just like my Italian Mom, she needs to mix it up and see your response to know you care.

I have the opposite experience with #7. Say the wrong thing and she can sulk for weeks!

I mentioned to a friend that my old FI Spider had more power than the current 74 (in her presence) and she hasn't run in about 6 weeks!

If we treated the other women in our lives with the same love and attention we do our fiat.........On the other hand, if i left my wife out in the 110 degree garage all week, i would get a lot more grief than i get from the spider.
