Better but only lists them as available for:

Front Rear
TA/G £ EACH G £ EACH
124 Spyder (up to Chassis no. 1759186) -8/68 G596 89.99 G2009 94.99
124 Spyder (from Chassis no. 1759187) 9/69-76 G596 89.99 G609 94.99

KYB lists their shocks for the 124 Spider as the same from 1968 through 1985 so now I curious of the differences.

the only difference is the one I noted in the rear dampers. G2009 early / G609 everything else (apart from wagons)
fronts for all coupes / spyder is the same, up to end of production. G596

probably something as simple as a typo.

They are a custom shop so I was wondering if they are only listing the vehicles they did the fine tuning of the valving and such on especially since other makers only list one full set of shock for all the years. The previous owner did replace all the shocks however I have not vetted them out and they do appear to be negatively impacted by the cooler temps (meaning below 75 F compared to the normal 80F to 100F) getting a bit stiffer when its cooler out and at times in an very excessive manner.

There was a nice article a few years ago in a German classic car magazine, showing handling optimisation on a BC Coupe with the Spax dampers. Because Spax are adjustable, they do not do specific valving for each model. They have 30 clicks of adjustability, so a single generic damper can cover a fairly broad range of lower-weight cars. The only "custom" elements are the fastening hardware at each end, which is consistent across all 124s.

I contacted the SPAX Distributor in Sarasota, Florida and they would be happy to provide the $159 apiece SPAX shocks for the 124's despite their primary focus being British cars.
