Custom Stainless Steel Exhaust

Post by 4uall »

It was brought to my attention by Phaetan at FFO that smoke was coming out from underneath my passengers side

Sure enough, my exhaust had come to the end of its life

In speaking with the president of our local Alpha Romeo club ( weird, I know  ) he referred me to an independent guy in my nieghbourhood 8)

Kept the original 4 into 1, then went straight to the muffler and now there is plenty of space for the brake cable.

The results are awesome

It's always great to find an exhaust guy that knows what he is doing. I have a similar system but the rear muffler only was a bit too loud on long trips, so I took it back and added a resonator.

Jay, sounds awesome! Is it just the camera angle, or does your drivers seat have the " gangsta lean"....... Another welding project.......

Jay, love the stainless and you won't have to worry about that again for a long time.

FWIW, I'm with Csaba, its a little loud for me, I'd want a resonator.

Know what you mean about the emergency brake cable. I've been futzing with that since the day I got the car.

Enjoy.

Looks and sounds great. I should have contacted these guys to get an estimate before I did it myself. It was a PITA! My panrod was bend and this caused no end of fitting issues until I put it back to the way it was supposed to be. But I still have my CAT and I did buy the resonator to fit together with my ANSA exhaust. And the e-brake cable finally has some room, doesn't touch the exhaust and there no rattles.

The details are as follows:

pipe size is 1.75" but muffler is hand made by Sergiy Blazhko which he calls "Victory Performance Exhaust"

Thanks everyone, I'm really enjoying Fiona's new sound  Going to keep it like this for now and see how I feel 8)

On to the next project
