My high beams do not turn on.
I mentioned this in a previous non related post and a member indicated that it could be the high beam switch in the column. How do I check for that ...
The low beams, turn signals and hazard lights work fine.
Any help with the how to check, and remove, replace the switch would be greatly appreciated, my Google search didn't help.
Also any ideas as to what else it could be would be appreciated. I have cleaned all grounds and applied dielectric grease to the connections.

Re: High beams problem
Do they not work either if you pull the lever or if you move it down? I think those are different sets of contacts, so if it does not work either way than it may be something else. You just need to look at the wiring diagram, figure out the current's path and start testing to see where is it lost.

Re: High beams problem
The switch is part of an assembly that mounts around the steering column, under the plastic cover. Easy to get off, remove the steering wheel (mark the position) and the plastic covers and you'll see the whole thing, it unscrews and slides off. From there you can test it or throw it away and replace it. They aren't hard to work on but the way it is manufactured the little tangs that compress when you run the levers often break under repair.

Re: High beams problem
My Coupe often won't go to high beams if I gently slide the column switch down. If I give it a rather definite flick, then the work. I will eventually replace the switch. Try using some extra verve on the switch.
