Finally figured out how to make the wipers work with the wiper switch that is on my tilt steering column that I got from an 89 Pontiac firebird. It took three spdt relays and a considerable amount of head scratching. I had one snafu with one of the relays having a different pinout than the other two relays that I had just bought. Those had diagrams on top.. The other one didn't.. Then the wipers were clocked 180° out. They wouldn't park at the bottom they parked up top.. And the wiper blades were to long... But after all of that they now work beautifully.

if you are really interested I could draw it out. For reference the stock FIAT Spider wiper switch is a double pole triple throw switch.RoyBatty wrote:Well done!

Pole 1 is fed by the white wire with a black stripe
Pole 2 is fed by the yellow wire with a black stripe
-------------- 1-------2
Off --Pos1= Yellow --- NC
Del - Pos2= White ---- Red
On --Pos3= NC --- --- Grey
I eliminated the delay position and use 2 single pole double throw relays to mimic the off and on positions. I used a third single pole double throw relay for the fast and slow switch. My firebird switch is a single pole 3 throw switch. Position two energizes the on off relays while the speed relay is not energized which is the slow speed...position 3 energizes all three relays for fast speed... Position 1 is all relays not energized.. The off position
