Wish I could be there, too. Major suspension upgrade in progress. Have a great time!

Have a good time, all! We are in Northern NJ but haven't had enough operating experience yet to be confident of making such a long trip. Baby steps, baby steps.

Holly Crap, you mean me? I won something? Was I the only car in the class?great job on the class win!
We didn't go to the banquet and they didn't post a list so if you are serious no one told me.
Anyway, there were 5 of us in our group, brothers Andy & Bruce Roper from the Philadelphia suburbs, each with their own Spider, and George, Ralph & I from the Garden State. We covered about 750 miles all told. Hot and sticky but the cars ran great.
Andy's Spider is a beauty and deserved a prize but they ran out of parking spaces and he was shuffled off to the side so I suspect the voters in which ever class he was in probably didn't see it when voting which is too bad.
But none of us when there to win anything. We had a lot of fun. We all got to chat with the Canada guys. Nice fellows and I see they made it home safe and sound.

Here's the proof of the winners in your category. (It's unclear as to why it was cut a bit short)
CONGRATULATIONS ON FIRST PLACE!
Cheers!

I have to agree with the judges, Doug's car is one of the nicest smoothest spiders I have driven. His attention to detail makes the car a treat to drive. Congrats Doug!
Re: Metro NY Area to FFO 15?
Thanks for the info Ari. Quite a surprise.
Ralph is too kind, without his help mine and a lot of other NJ Fiats wouldn't be on the road and that's a fact.
Looking at that picture I can see its time to push in those bumpers. They really stick out. I really want the blades and old style blinkers but that's not going to happen any time soon. That means body work and that means paint. Besides I just like to drive it.

Hey Doug!
Mr DeMile is on the phone. He said it's time for your close up.
I hope you will be keeping up the "new" tradition at NJFIATS.ORG.
All National winners buy breakfast for all attendees at the next monthly meeting.
Outstanding my friend. Well deserved.

It was a great time. I have to agree you folks in NJ have a great group of Fiat owners who support each other. I think you are the best. Doug you do have a very nice car and deserve the award. Hope to see you all at a breakfast before the summer ends.
