The list states these were cars that touched him on a personal level. Several of them designed by his father. The 124s have played a significant part in the financial fabric of the company for more than 20 years. When you look at the quantity of 124s made over the years, it far exceeded any other car they made. The style I didn't expect to stand the test of time as the body style was already looking aged with the advent of the 240Z. To my surprise, the many of the design elements of the car have been used in modern cars, helping keep the car classic pretty rather than old fashioned.

Just saw this article on CNN.com. Such a proud moment. I keep forgetting what a pretty car she is in her purest form, (no side moulding bumpers, shaved off side markers, european ride hight etc etc). This isn't the first time that I see our little jewels make a top 10 list. Years ago I bought a copy of FHM or Maxim magazine, can't remember, and there was a top 10 list of cars that are affordable that will trick a rich girl into dating you lol.

But when it comes from a Pininfarina family member it is really a proud moment. Especially considering that they have a 124 spider sitting in the Pininfarina showroom next to all the 6-7 figure ferraris.
