1979 catalytic hump removal

I have rust in the passenger floorboard of my spider between the catalytic hump and the rocker and between the hump and the transmission tunnel. I no longer need to run a catalytic converter and was thinking of just removing the hump and replacing it with a flat floor. Will the early floor pans fit and will I need to change anything else?

They fit, but you will need to do front and rear floor pans

The earlier non-cat cars routed the exhaust differently. If you are planning on not changing anything but the cat, you need to make sure you still have clearance with a flat floor.

I did not know that the exhaust on early cars was routed diffrently. I am planning to use the '78 down pipe and the AR large center section and muffler.
