I will be needing help as I get my toy performing to my liking.
I just purchased my little black and silver spider.
She is a shinny little car with out any rust or dents, has a good interior, a nice clean soft top, but without a boot.
The usual electrical issues are present I am still sorting them out.
I started with out any lights at all but the car ran - and now I have every thing except the RF turn signal which only has 1.5 Volt. Also the wiper fuser blows so I probably need to lubricate the mechanism.
I have found 3 or 4 loose hoses causing vacuum leaks, but the main issue is the exhaust cam tower leaks oil at the head seal ...

SO I checked the bolts ... must be more than 65# torque... I have not taken them off yet just checking.
I am looking at what it will take to get down to that gasket .. making a parts list and checking it twice.
Will I have to have the cam tower machined flat on the bottom since it is over tightened so much, do I need new bolts?
It looks like a new timing belt will be required to get down that far, will I need any thing to adjust valves? I see some valve pucks on-line Questions Questions Questions

These motors are completely different than anything I have done before.
My dad was a motor machinist so I helped him a few times (actually he was helping me) and never had any problem tearing into motors.
