PA&SM Tucson - 25 July 2015 - Links to photos

Post by SunnySideUp »

The Fun Italian Automobiles of Tucson is extending an invitation to FS.com members who want to bring their Italian car to a photo shoot opportunity at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday 18 July 2015. Pick your favorite aircraft in the museum's outside display grounds, park next to it, take a picture! The event will be EARLY morning before the museum opens to the general public so folks can get back home before they either get baked or soaked from Arizona's monsoon season. The museum is charging $20 per car to enter and the fee goes to the museum's general fund.

Pima Air & Space Museum website: http://www.pimaair.org/

If interested in participating send me a PM or email for additional details. Sign-up deadline is 11 July 2015.

This event has been rescheduled to 25 July 2015 due to rain and mud (in the desert!). One good thing from this is that the sign-up deadline has been extended to Monday 20 July 2015.

I think that would be a fun thing to do. Been to the museum many times and it would be great to have a picture of my spider in front of the plane my Dad flew in WW-II.

But I keep thinking, July 18th, AZ desert, no AC.

The weather cooperated and the event was great. The president of the Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA) attended from San Diego, CA as did a couple of Pantera owners from Phoenix. Here are links to a couple of photo albums from the Fun Italian Automobiles of Tucson and the Southern AZ Pantera Club:

There is A LOT to see at the Pima Air & Space Museum. If you are ever in Tucson, AZ I highly recommend a visit!
