My carbureted '79 is missing the hose that goes from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner, I assume to bring warm air to the carb on cold starts. Does this actually have any benefits?
My car starts and runs pretty good without it, but when I pop the hood to show off it is kind of obvious that something is missing. Does anyone know where to but one? Didn't see them at AR.
Thanks, John

I would not worry about it, it's missing from most Spiders.

This can commonly be found as "heat riser tube" or "hvac duct tube" at parts stores in different sizes. IIRC it is 1.75 to 2" in diameter, but measure yours and see.
