Glad it's not International Spider Day - It's minus 3 degrees C here this morning and Spyduh's staying rugged up in the garage

Wow man, sorry to hear!

But for the record, where you at? Damn, please advise so, if it's on my Bucket List, I can remove it!!

First day of Summer here. The wife and I had a excellent 3 - 4 hour drive up the Cloumbia Gorge.

Again, sorry!

Curly is in the Southern Hemisphere, as stated on his profile, and is therefore in the middle of winter while we enjoy summer up here.
Give it five months and he will be having a blast while you hibernate.

And, I'm not taking a visit to Australia, and New Zealand, off my bucket list!! I'll just be sure to do it at the right time of year.

Wow, we were there for a month this year (middle of Feb. to middle of March) and you are right! It was beautiful!! But 3 degrees!! Damn, never knew it got that cold there.

We were in Sydney and North Island, NZ for 2 weeks and then 2 weeks in Cains (Trinity Beach). It was 80 F every day!!

Loved it!!

Yes, it's not all beaches, deserts and tropical rain forests down under  We're down in the south-east corner of the continent, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and not too far from a ski resort which celebrated the opening of the ski season two weeks ago with a good covering of fresh snow and most of its lifts open.
