Normal engine noise?

Post by 70spider »

Hey, just for my piece of mind I was wondering what our engines normally sound like when they are running in good nick.
Here is what mine sounds like:

Is this normal?

Sounds ok to me.
Hard to tell from the recording.
But there might be a little valve clatter.
Was the engine fully warmed to operating temperature?

Almost, about 170. Most of the clatter emanates from around the fuel pump.
