Removing the air injector system
Can the air injector manifold and injectors be removed without removing the head? I can get a 13mm open end on the injectors at an angle, but the jaws want to spread apart and I fearful of rounding them off. I don't seem to have enough room to get a crows foot open end on them or a "tubing" open end (the real name for that escapes me at the moment). That is the last unused piece of equipment on the engine and I would like to get it off before OR '15.

use a crow's foot line wrench. A less desirable method is to cut the tubes, then use a socket on the nuts

I had been considering the cut the line option. Would you want to blow air through the spark plug hole to keep shavings out of the cylinder? I had finally gotten the forward injector loosened but the next one would not budge! ..... So, as often are my projects, I'm back to where I started.

I doubt you would get debris in the cylinder if you just cut the tubes off above the nut. Those air manifolds are useful in states that still require smog tests, so it's a shame to see them ruined
