Cast iron turbo manifold from Mark
Did anybody use it or i'm the first one?

You can see the change of direction on my water pump because the turbo was in the way

We definitely need a more detailed write up! What turbo are you using? I am looking to go this same route, but am sort of waiting for Mark to come out with a kit (as he said he was). After my tran repair, I may have to follow your path if no kit is available.

I use from the kit: the turbo, wastegate, fuel pressure regulator, turbo timer and the intercooler.
I'm happy with the kit but it was not a direct fit.

Probably and I paid like $200 too much...I am wondering if purchasing the parts separately would be cheaper for me
I have an 8V engine.I am also concerned about this turbo in an 8V engine.

Ah, I misread. I thought you had a 16v engine. I appreciate your posts. They are helping my firm up what I am hoping to do. Probably about a year away, though. This is beyond what I am comfortable with mechanically and will probably sit down with my mechanic this fall to start making decisions. Ford Edis4 for timing and Megasquirt to control everything.Probably the two things I am concerned about most are the ignition timing control and fuel management.
If you want a fast Spider, it's the way.

The car is running and I put like 800 miles on the odometer. One night he refuse to start in a parking lot. Pump was not running. Call the towing and $50 later the car was in my shop. It was the fuel pump relay that was the problem. $3.50 later the car was running again and because i'm not cheap, I bought another one that I keep in the glovebox. The other problem was a broken stud that hold the driveshaft bearing. I think it's suppose the have rubber in the hole of the bracket but mine are bolts right to the body. The turbo kick in at around 3500RPM and men it pull. In first gear, you don't way to stay there... So you shift. In second and third, the acceleration is scary. The best comparaison i can see is: A little racing go kart but I drive it without helmet and with my dog in the back
If anybody pass near Sherbrooke one day and want to try it, let me know

P.S. I adjust my red zone at 6300RPM and I was thinking to adjust it at 6700RPM what do you think about that? At red zone the timing is progressively retard 12 degrees and the fuel pump is cut-off.
