I am in the process of putting a single plane intake and 32/36 carb on my '73 Spider. Unfortunately, I did not take any pics when I disassembled the throttle linkage. I can't seem to get mine to line up (I was told the existing linkages should work with the DFEV).
Does anyone have any pictures of theirs that they could share? Does anyone see anything obvious that I am missing. The bolt to the cam cover does not seem to fit the bracket, and the bracket does not line up well with the rod, so I am wondering if maybe I lost a part along the way that is giving me fits.
Thanks for any help or advice. Here it is mocked up, without the spring from the firewall to the rod end or the linkage to the pedal connected. But, just to get this far required putting the gas pedal full on, and leaves the carb at idle. If I leave the pedal at idle, then the connecting arm to the carb is WAY too long and will not have enough adjustment.
Clearly the bolt head is too small for the opening in the bracket. I can just add a washer, and I do not believe I lost one, but this makes me think I am missing something...

If you're in el dorado hills just above Folsom, I can come by to look at it after work today if you like.
It would be after 3:30pm.

I have a 74 and was reassembling my throttle linkage last night. It looks to me like you have the wrong bracket. I can post pictures after I get home from work tonight, but that bracket looks nothing like the one in my car, and the hole size mismatch makes me think it isn't just due to the one year difference.

If you don't mind, that would be great. No telling what someone rigged up before I got it. Thank you.

Re: Throttle multi linkage photos
Nope, that is perfect!
As you can see in mine, I appear to be missing the bushing that supports the end of the rod. So what I thought was the hole for the end of the rod, is actually the bolt hole, and so (he says sheepishly) I was putting the bracket on upside down!
Thanks for the pics. A huge help!
