Hello,
I have hole at the beginnnig of acceleration...when cold or when hot....
At charge not when the car is static.
The idle is perfect...
When the hole is away the car go on in a perfect acceleration....
When i change gear, i ve systematicaly a litre hole....
I ve check bad air...everything is perfect...
I suspect the airflow meter, because the door inside must move perfectly...and i feel a little resistance....
if Somebody know this issue.
Hole, erratic at the beginning of acceleration...

You can carefully sand the sidewall of the AFM to make sure that the door swings freely. It is not uncommon for it to stick. use a very fine sandpaper, like 400, and clean thoroughly afterwards.

Re: Hole, erratic at the beginning of acceleration...
That worked successfully but yesterday when i have started the engine, i have listened a detonation at right of the engine....and during all my travel, the hole in acceleration was present like before my cleaning and sanding.....
I've cleaned and sanded, and now it s good.
Is somebody know this kind of backfire through the AFM and the correction that i can apply...?

Next recheck your timing. Set base 10btdc and make certain the advance mechanism is free and smooth

Re: Hole, erratic at the beginning of acceleration...
I'm wondering if there is a "flat spot" on the strip in the AFM the pins travel on. The first third of the strip gets lots of travel on it and can wear.
Perhaps pop the black plastic top off the AFM with a box cutter type knife and have a look at the strip the pins move on.
One can adjust the pin location on the strip by loosening the pin arm and moving the assembly up or down with perhaps a slight bend in the arm itself to get the pins to move on a "clean" part of the strip. Only have to move it half to 1 mm to make a difference.

might have a small air leak. check your plenum hose for cracks. Those hose to the cold start injector can work loose as well.

Re: Hole, erratic at the beginning of acceleration...
No, no the solution of Rroller123 is the good one, but i cannot keep clean interior of the afm, i must everytime sand and clean...there is for me another problem link to the detonation...
