In my ancient '74 124 Sport Coupe, I had a great-looking "racing" steering wheel. I forgot the brand, and unfortunately both the Coupe and its wheels are long gone.
I'd like to get something nice, probably a Momo, for my '78 Spider; but the Momo folks say their wheels need a hub adapter that will have to be custom made in a machine shop.
Do any of you know of a simpler solution?

Grant makes both steering wheels and an adaptor for the Fiat 124/2000.
I have a Grant wheel and the adaptor on my spider, and LOVE it, in fact I have 2 Grant steering wheels, the first one I liked but then I found another on eBay I liked even more...And cheaper too...
You can check out Grants website at

The adaptor p/n is either 6504 or 6506 I cant remember which one I bought at this sec, but it was easy to install.
The adaptor limits you to use only the Grant Signature series wheels with the 5 hole pattern, but luckly there are tons of options available. Each comes with horn button included and all hardware neccessary.
I dont have pics of mine installed at this time but if you are interested I will take a few shots and either Email or post them.
Tons of dealers out there for the Grant wheels, so shop around for the best deals, and dont forget Ebay, I got a $250 wheel for around $50 shipped.. Brand new in box....

No need for adapters (at least not on mine )
