Plastic fuel filter to metal fuel filter

Post by profcucchi »

Hey guys,

I am changing my fuel filter from the plastic, transparent orange filter to the metal canister one.

The metal canister has an "IN" on one side. This end plugs into the fuel line, and the other side goes to the carb, correct?

Or is it universal?

Thanks, and happy driving.

If this has been covered, please post the link.

The poetic answer lessens my ignorance of fuel filters!

I called four different parts shops, got 3 answers, but yours was by far the best.
