OK, stupidist question yet. I have had it with the dual points system on my 78'. Tried the International Auto fix to make it a single set. Did not work worth a hill of beans. Would not start no matter how many times I followed their instructions.
So reading the forum as usual, I see a lot of talk about changing to electronic breakersless system.
It seems to always be spelled "Petronics"? Only thing I could find on internet was a "Pertronics" system. Autowarehouse.com had Pertronics universal conversion for my 78'.
So did I find a Chinese knockoff? Or is there actually a Petronics brand and a "Pertronics" brand. It looked exactly like the set Autoricambi sells. They ship for $73.00 total a "Pertronics" Universal Conversion to electronic points .
For "Petronics" I found Facebook pages, Norwegian robotics, etc.

Short of opting for Marks system, petronix with their flame thrower coil was one of the best things I did for my 76.
Simple to put on as well.

Mine has a crane fireball breakerless ignition. It works great. The timing must be set at 10BTC at idle instead of the factory 0 BTC if you go that route. The instructions don't tell you that.

Re: Petronics-Pertronics. Resolved
Thanks 81spidermatt, Pertronix it is then. I was just afraid I had ordered some cheap knock off that most likely not work or burn out in a month or even more worse, burn me up in a fiery motor death. Thanks everyone. Just wanted to know what the real item is used by forum members..
PS my dizzy is fine, seals OK, just points are so outta there. Also, any mention of wiring colors in my car are only about 20% of most people's note.

In the last ~10 years I head of 4 Crane units failing.
>The timing must be set at 10BTC at idle
That is true regardless of what ignition system is used.
