Copper State 1000

Post by azruss »

Found out the copper state 1000 rally is going on this weekend. Saturday morning all the cars are showing at Diablo Stadium for a mini-show and then off on the rally at noon. Can hardly find out anything about the rally. says 2015 is closed. My guess is this is an exclusive, invite only, event. Anyhow, The kid and I will be at Diablo stadium at 9am saturday to check out the rides. He and his son will take his twin-turbo supra and i will be solo in the spider. Looking at past years I'm anticipating some very cool cars.

Exclusive and very expensive.

You'll see some world class cars.

Send us the report.

I think the BEAT rally is also this weekend. Leaving Phx to Little America in Flag, by way of Wickenburg, Prescott, Jerome, and Sedona.

If it were a little later in the season I'd consider it. It's only 36 up here this morning. I think some local FCA members were going though.

Have fun Russ. And yes, post the pictures!

Nice cool morning for a cruise to Tempe. serious eye candy.....even in the parking lot. The big crowd was showing up just about the time we left. Got there early enough to get decent pictures. Enjoy

Grrr! I was probably less than a mile away from there today and knew nothing about it until now.

I still have a few small things to finish up before I start considering drive mine more. A couple exhaust things, a possible carb rebuild, and that pesky coolant leak on the front of the engine.
