Dear all,
could you please advise me what is going on... after 3 month sleeping yesterday i start engine and run about 15km wits some problems... problems also were before "sleeping" time , but now it looks much worst.
From the beggining i have some problems with the engine temperature (gauge shows like engine after it's hot almost reach red line but never go in red pole.), so i checked couple things... sensors, gauge, done test if exhaust are in the cooling secion (head gasket problem).
When i connect cable from the sensor which is closes to the timming belt to the sensor which is close to engine bulkhead then gauge shows 90C degree or little bit more but doesn't go to the red pole.
This is only when engine is cold:
But now i have some other problems when i connect connectors us it should be (short cable to the sensors which is close to bulkhead, and longer cable to the sensor which is close to timming belt) i have a problem with the idle speed and entering the engine to high speed, it also when you try to add a gas engine does not turn over and off.

when i disconnect all sensors problems are the same.
When i connect longer cable to the sensor which is closes to the bulkhead then i have a good idle speed but when i try to add some gas, it doeasnt want go over and switch off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMU7SKSmaSI
when i leave it on the idle speed for 10min, engine getting 90C degree and after some short ride everything is ok. idle speed, i can accelerate and engine doesn't choke.
Maybe You can support me what should i check?
i will add also that i have unplagged connector from the lapmda probe and i don't see where it shoud be connected..
ps. sorry for my english

Re: Engine Idle Speed problem
Dont worry about your english. it is far better than my Polish. Your temperature issues may be a bad ground at the gage. The ground pod for the instruments are under the dashboard just above the ignition key. There is a metal bar that runs across the bottom of the dashboard and the pod is located there. Clean all those connections.
I would also clean the ground connections on the motor as well as the 2 on the intake plenum. I think the wire from the lambda sensor on the exhaust manifold goes through the firewall (bulkhead) to the ECU (computer). Also check the connector going into the sensor on the coolant tee.
