Alquati 40/80 on stock 1608 intake

I ended up with a rebuilt 1608 that I am planning on using. As far as I can tell its about stock, with some oil I measured around 8.7:1 compression ratio. I have one Alquati 40/80 cam and One GC 3A cam ( long story ) I was thinking it could be nice to use one of them on the intake side.

Has anyone tried running a 300' cam like one of these on the intake side of a stock 1608?
Does it lower the dynamic compression ratio too much?
If you have done this did you change the cam timing at all?

that's a pretty agressive cam for a stock engine/exhaust

I suspected as much, these cams are off a 2L project.
Just curious for a 1608 what compression ratio would I need to be able to take advantage of this cam on the intake?

I would want 10:1 at a minimum with a free flow exhaust. Driving habits will also be a factor. If you don't regularly drive with rpms at 4000 and up this isn't the best choice
