not a fair comparison. Give the modern guys just 4 man crew and no air wrenches. Both were very impressive, the 1950 for how slow it was. I'd be curious how much fuel was dropped in that second or so.

Super awesome!
With everything going on out there there was an image in the back of my head of Jihadi John pulling up next to them armed with an AK-47.
I wonder how the driver deals with the sudden balance transfers of all those people moving out & about.

I was wondering how many vehicles they trashed, injuries were sustained, before they got that right...!

It's irrelevent. If they don't make it they are introduced to 72 virgins each in paradise.

I'm no expert in laws of Islam but homosexuality gets you the death penalty, so i assume that your virgin will be of the opposite sex (if there is a sexual orientation after death). Death because of homosexuality or death penalty for that matter will not profit you your virgins...it's complicated.
There are no memes that i can think of that can illustrate this.

I'm no expert either, and I fear we are straying into an area we should pull back from.

FEMALE because females have no rights and are treated like dogs.so they cant have any virgins after death.IMHO

EDIT==and try to find any male virgins"GOOD LUCK"

Some of those scenes are quite alarming, and they are caused by careless mistakes that can be avoided. I would list pitstop technicians as one of top ranking dangerous professions (let's not forget the drivers of course). They try to save so many precious seconds and the result could end up with one's life.
In 2013, a crane escort got killed in Montreal when he tried to retrieve his fallen radio while the crane was in motion with an F1 car. He was momentarily out of view and the crane crushed him. We have a governing body that oversees all work related accidents and makes sure such events do not reoccur by imposing stiff fines to their bosses and sending everyone involved back to safety school.

In 1950, 25 seconds was used up on cleaning the winshield, (no windshield in 2013). The 1950 driver also had enough time to drink 2 cups of water. How times have changed!
