It looks like the intake is pretty close to the steering box. I had a Fiat 1500 for several hours in the mid-70's.
A friend of mine sold it to me cheap. I replaced the head gasket and sold it back to him for 50 bucks profit.

Yeah, that has a lot to do with the angle of the picture. the intake actually fits fine. Wish I had the original engine for it. It's value would then be a lot higher.
