Stock springs? Can you share a side profile photo? Are 71 springs lower than those on the later cars? I want to get lower springs for mine as the car just sits too high...azruss wrote:The spoiler as well as other custom bodywork below the belt are home made. The wheels are 15x6 Rotas with 195/55 Yokohama S-drives. Sprung with stock 71 springs with low pressure gas shocks.

Re: Bumpers
search for a post called "selfie" to see the car from a couple of angles out in the real world.
My car had some front end work done by a previous owner so don't know how much this applies to others. When my car is level to the ground, measured by the long body seam with the jack points at each end. the front wheel well arch is higher than the rear wheel arch. It makes the car appear to be a tail-dragger. After photo shopping the side photos to see the difference, i decided to leave it well enough alone. The way the car sits, i dont have to worry about scraping the spoiler on speed bumps or dips in the road (very common in Phoenix where there are no storm drains).
Even though the custom rocker panels are not lower than the stock ones, it does make the car appear lower. (this is a good thing
