I think the biggest deterrent is exhaust gases coming in the back window. With the top up, you have a aerodynamic vaccuum behind the top that will suck exhaust in.

Good point! Electron dissuaded me from doing the zipper, for different reasons. I'm pasting their email below in case it helps someone considering the same thing:azruss wrote:I think the biggest deterrent is exhaust gases coming in the back window. Yes we could send you a color chart so that you can get a better idea of what you want. As far as the zipper window, we don't suggest you getting a zipper on that particular car for the following reasons; it could leak, it may have wrinkles around the window, your view will be smaller when looking out it, the zipper would be a plastic coil, also on that car there is really no support for the zipper around the window and for the future if you need to replace that window your Upholsterer will have a tough time...so we don't really suggest you getting a zippered back window on this car. Hope this helps.

Hi, I just had a canvas top installed here in Toronto, I ordered the top from Autoberry.
http://www.autoberry.com/details.php?products_id=22
I ordered their most expensive top , the German Sonnenland Top at 379$.
I believe they are in California, it came up quick, the shipping was super cheap.
The local guy charged me 500$ to install it and it looks incredible. I will post some photos tonight.
Cheers
