So I took the Spider for a quick spin today, just a few miles.. I hadn't had a chance in a couple weeks, so it needed it.
At the end of my drive, as I pull into my driveway, I notice that I have a 'lumpy idle'... Engine reved fine, and it ran fine during the drive..
Turns out one of the spark plug wires fell off (on the dizzy side).. Somehow I was running 'reasonably smooth' on 3 cylinders.. I've heard other engines run on 3 cylinders before, and none of them were this smooth? Obviously I hooked it back up, and it smoothed out, but it kinda surprised me that i could run on 3 like that, and barely notice.
Mild surprise...
