I would start by having a look at the flex disk (guibo) and engine/trans mounts.

The stick shift vibration may be due to worn shift lever bushings. Remember that the shifter is bolted directly to the transmission, the only thing that dampens engine and driveline vibrations from coming through the shifter are the bushings between the upper and lower shift lever.

I would take a look at my carrier bearing in the drive shaft for rotten rubber coming apart. Doesn't cost a penny to look.

I have a 1971 Spider 124, with carb. The engine mounts look fine. Will have to check the other suggestions.

Your car has the old-style throttle assembly, which consists of a complex linkage mounted to the firewall. Fiat changed this in the mid-70's to a more modern cable arrangement. Mounting the throttle linkage on the car instead of the engine makes for a very shaky throttle response.
How did you test the engine mounts? Did you apply the parking brake, then have an observer watch for engine movement under load? If the mounts pass this test, trace the linkage from the carb back to the pedal, examining each ball joint and bushing for slop and movement. If the linkage is bad, post on Parts Wanted for a later model replacement. It's not a difficult modification.
