been reading and see some have found that at one point their trailing arm was used as a jack point .... I am now on that list ..... not if but when it will fail type of dent I have ..... also in my reading.... there is a difference in length of trailing arms around 78 .... can someone confirm that ? and most likely I will save and get all 4 new .... any recommendations??? thanks... Matt
also would like to know if there is an option of new arms that can be rebuilt when needed in the future (bushings)

Re: trailing arm question
The trailing arms changed in 79. The bushing was changed to a different type. But the lengths stayed the same, and you can use them interchangably. My 79 has a 76 rear end, and the only thing that isn't interchangable is the panhard rod.
