(The above is at least as annoying as trying to read what you wrote)
Did it before you put on a new distributor? If so then check that you have the new distributor timed to the #4 firing position (not #1 like every other car, #4).

Re: No fire
How are you testing spark?
Have you looked at the points, rotor and cap?
It is most likely the points.

Re: No fire
Did it just conk out or did you find it like this?
Re: No fire
It was running fine when I parked it.The car sit around a month went to move it wouldn't start.I now have found a fuse blowed under the dash that comes from the switch.Do you think this is the problem? I can't find fuses. Does anyone know were they sell them and would the blow fuse be the reason I have no fire

Re: No fire
There's a pink wire led from the ignition switch to the coil. It should be hot when the ignition is on. The same circuit shares with some dash lights. No power from this wire = no fire. An auto parts store may special order these fuses, and while you're at it change all of them, good or not.Estepp14 wrote:It was running fine when I parked it.The car sit around a month went to move it wouldn't start.I now have found a fuse blowed under the dash that comes from the switch.Do you think this is the problem? Re: No fire
Must be something else, i believe ignition and start are not fused.
