White Spider spotted on Mount Vernon (Dunwoody, GA) Yesterdy

Post by bradartigue »

White Spider spotted on Mount Vernon (Dunwoody, GA) Yesterday - I heard it coming before I saw it, I think my ears are tuned to what a FIAT TC sounds like. I know there are a few Spiders lurking around but its the first Ive seen in 6 months of living in Dunwoody. Yours?

Moved here in July after a 7 year hiatus. Living in Dunwoody, was in Baton Rouge for 7 and in Buckhead (Atlanta) for the 7 prior. Hope to run into you soon.

i was just in Alpharetta for thanksgiving .... wish I would have known you were close ... all the help I have gotten from you and your work I would have set a place at the big boy table for dinner .... or at least to have met and buy you a beer ... could have been my "brush with fame"

I have a few dozens of pictures of every car that was in the inaugural ICD, seems like yesterday but it was 2002 at Lake Lanier. Didn't know it was still on.

Yep,it was the 18th annual. Here is the site.On the bottom right is a link to all the pictures.Mine is the blue(and only !)Spider. The car behind me is Denise's X1/9 followed by Kevin Barnett's X.They drove over from NC,spent the night at my house, and drove over with me.Like I said,if I knew you were in the area I would have made sure you had the info.

I have somewhere the original poster for the first one. Sold exactly one - I ended up refunding the guy who bought it. They were printed on demand so the investment was nil, but it was too bad really as the car in the thing was super nice. Have to find the file, post it somewhere.

Always enjoy seeing people's Spiders and there are some nice national parks/monuments up that way.

I live and work around Alpharetta GA. Do any of you know of a nice Spider in this area for sale? I owned a 1975 for many years. I think I want one that is newer than 1980 this time around.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nice is a relative term, I know a good 1980 that needs some refurbishment if you like. It is carbureted.
