you know magic, your posts really piss me off. Just because you don't understand something doesn't give you the latitude to dismiss it. Where did I suggest spraying water AT the engine? The spray goes into the afm to simulate water injection. You might try connecting a voltmeter to your Fiat O2 sensor and see what happens at 2500rpm. .450 is a median point

You are correct, you did not say to spray AT the engine.
I do understand water injection, do not assume that I do not. I just see no reason to mess with it. Fiats pass all the time without it. (I am assuming this, if they all need to have water inj to pass let me know) I asked if it is legal ?(I don't know). If it isn't legal, all the more reason to avoid it.
And I still fail to see the point of spraying water INTO afm. Now what?? If you have EM equipment hooked up, perhaps you can see some change. I would be willing to bet OP has no EM equipment. If there is a good reason for spraying water into AFM and I am missing it, please educate me.
Yes .45 volts is the MEDIAN point, which needs to be stated, or someone will be wasting a lot of time trying to get the O2 reading to read .45 volts. I've been watching O2 readings since the 70's, they should never just sit anywhere (like .45 volts)

Put the timing at 7°BTDC and it squeaked by! (.09 g/M to spare)

Happy to hear!! I remember failing NOX first time too and I passed by adding some E85 to my gas before the retest. Might not be the "right" solution, but it was cheap and worked.
