Sold my project car

Post by spidernut »

I really love rescuing Fiat Spiders. About 6-8 months ago, I purchased a car that the owner was considering selling to PicknPull to be scrapped. It was far too nice with no rust and only missing a few things here and there and it didn't run. It needed a lot of work from electrical systems to motor and a suspension rebuild, new interior and so much more. But, I got her all done and she was running and driving wonderfully.

Today, I officially sold the car to a new owner. I'll miss the car but will get to see her again since he's joining our Fiat club!

Great work, John.
You're a good man.
Always nice to see one saved from the crusher and/or pick-n-pull.
Is that one of Mark's fiberglass lower consoles I see installed?

It is hard to believe, but the upper and lower consoles are original 1979 Fiat Spider consoles from a donor car at PicknPull. I found them in perfect condition and couldn't pass them up! They don't even have a single crack or split in them.
