One of my Fiat buddies from Canada,Peter Brownhill (kilrwail) is here in the US for a visit. He will be here today, and staying overnight and headed to Denise's tomorrow.Being in the South,he will be enjoying some home cookin' and our warm climate.So...I wake up this morning to 18 degrees!!!! He should feel right at home

I will let him know,Jay.This will be the second weekend in a row that we have hosted some of our Fiat friends.Last week we also met up with a group of Fiatsi, and we all hung out and had lunch together. It still amazes me how many friendships we have formed, based on the mutual love of these little Italian cars.I have been involved with many other marques/clubs and that just doesn't seem to be the case elsewhere.

Yep It is chilly here and there was a bit of snow yesterday.
Too bad the Ottawa gang didn't know you were coming here Jim. We could have arranged to get together.
Remember the canal is not ready yet for skating, but you can still get beaver tails.
Have a great trip Peter, wish you warmer weather.

Peter awoke to a chilly 17 deg.F this morning, here in the NE Ga. mtns.We took a 'spirited' ride thru some of the curviest roads in this part of the country.I even got complimented on my ''apexing'' ability and smooth driving style. High praise from an experienced driving instructor.Although he did tell me to slow down as he was getting a bit carsick!! :? Hmmm, could have been the grits I fed him with breakfast
He is now on his way to North Carolina to visit Denise, where it is a little warmer. Then,he is off to see Shaun Folkerts and the Fiat ''Garage Mahal'' in Pa. It was great to see him and catch up a bit.

I always enjoy the company of a man who appreciates a good beer.

Maybe next time you come back this way we can get together at Pub Italia. You might have been there before, since they have over 200 beers available. Including Innis and Gunn

Depending on when, I could see if I could get Joe (the proprietor and ICCO member) to give you a tour of his Moto/Italian car museum, which is close by. He has some amazing machines and memorabilia. Super nice guy.
You might have seen the pics 4uall posted from our ICCO BBQ which was held there.

After many years of dedicated research on the subject, I have determined that my favorite beer in the world is...
(insert drum roll here)
...free beer
