Winter is fast approaching and I took the Spider up to the cottage for one last tour.
Took the boat and dock out and shut down the water.
They'll be salting the roads up there soon and they've already closed the Gatineau Parkway (one of my favorite drives)
But there's no snow'salt here yet so I'm still driving her, but lately with the top up.
Anyway I shot my 2nd Spider video and just posted it on YouTube.

Yup -- I've seen Spiderdan's car in person a bunch o' times and she's stunning. Really top notch. The sound is awesome, too.

Sad the season is coming to a close... but I'm still going around with the top down. Getting every last bit I can...

Now about that 4th gear starting to pop out...I think Canadan gave me a lifetime warranty when he did the trany 12 years/80,000 miles ago. We both had copious amounts of "installation fluids" in us at the time, plus he thought it was a safe bet...we're both smokers!
He said that I am to blame 'cause I probably drive with my hand on my stick.
Told him I only do that when I'm on the inter-web (no not FS)
Spring project I guess.

Don, gotta love those Spiders 'cause they'll love you right back.
Sure like any good love affair there are ups and downs (pun intended) with them, but well worth it.
Not only is my Spider the best car I have ever owned (and I'm getting old), but it's also been the most fun to drive.
For me, that's what it's all about.
