I had to explain why the dishwasher was a good transmission cleaning device :), and I still don't think I'm forgiven for using a "spare" turkey baster to remove coolant from the head / oil from the cam towers......

In the end, I'm just glad she lets me have the garage without complaining that she wants her car inside! :D
I'm going to be redoing our kitchen in November and am seriously considering moving the old stove and dishwasher to the garage.
Perfect!!

C'mon Andy - it wasn't just buying her the car - you also had to restore it! And BTW - it should be one of the nicest around when finished

SoFlaFiat - just be sure you don't ask her for a pancake breakfast before you get that back on the shelf!

Andy's wife's spider will be top shelf - so he will have a lot of latitude around the garage when delivered to his bride..

Jeff - bear in mind that Alan's spider (when eventually finished) will be breathtaking! (the only real flaw being the block color) :)

I've already received explicit instructions not to do anything else with the motor in the 2000! Which does mean the 1800 is fair game.... And I've a lot of space on the exhaust side of the engine bay now!

Stunningly so.... all that space :)

Just started the rewiring this evening. Completed the build up of the Bussmann 15003 (five x 30Amp relay switched circuits, five x 15Amp non-switched circuits. Will remove the fast idle switch in the morning to fit it all in, and wire it up. Should tidy up the wiring on that side of the car enormously.

There is still a slight stain (or lack or metal possibly) on our relatively new kitchen sink. Apparently modern kitchen sinks are not rated to withstand the muratic acid required to clean some Fiat parts.

... she's still not happy about that one.
hope you don't have metal waste pipes! if that acid hits a blockage in there it will eat its way right out the bottom... ask me how I know...

So how did you explain that one, jetboy? Ramzi may need to explain the same thing.
