Cat Spring and Plate Noises

Anyone have a pic or two of their solution to stopping the noises that come from the springs and heat shield plate on the Cat? I get that annoying rattle at about 4500-5000 rpms. Very irritating. Thanks!

I coated my springs with brush on vinyl coating, like that handle dip stuff.

That is a great idea! And I assume that they don't get hot enough to cause a problem?

The heat shield itself should only make noise if it is bent up or loose. The springs, when originally delivered, had a flexible plastic cover on them. They don't get all that hot - the covers just deteriorated over the years. The rubber stuff should work fine on the springs, but not on the heat shield.
