The 2010 PVGP: http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... 16&t=10494 Not much has changed, except the Ferrari GTO is no longer $7.5 million, it's now $38 million

The view from the first photo in this post gives you some idea of the Cortile's layout; a long rectangle (actually, the 18th fairway). Kudos to the organizers for a scenic drive East, rather than into the city. Guys, try and get a waiver from the promoter re: ban on canopies, chairs, etc. If you have an exclusive FFO area, this should be possible. July weather can be awful; in 2010 folks were huddled under trees like cattle escaping the sun.

+1 on the chair/canopy waiver, Craig. I understand the concerns about marking/denting up the fairway, but canopies do less than a horde of (even lightweight) sports cars. Visitors like to talk to car owners, and it's easier to be there with the car if one is also not cooking one's self  Pat remains quite interested in the event, especially with Falling Water on the sched.

I think the ban is to prevent flyaway items from damaging other cars. It's a public golf course, so it gets beat up pretty well anyway

It's ok - I'll approve it :)

On the road trip - less excited about it as the "general stiffness" I thought I had after the RV trip actually turned out to be two herniated discs...... Hmmmm.....

Jay, I am making it a priority to seek you out!!
We have been speaking with the organizer of the Cortile to see if we can get the use of E Z Ups approved.I will let everyone know as soon as I hear a definitive answer.
I know that several years ago,a big group from Toronto rented a tractor trailer/car carrier to get to FFO.Hey,you can pack a bunch of Fiats on one of those  From memory,it ended up being fairly inexpensive when the cost was split up.I will ask Jerry Cuchiarra for more info,as I think he organized that.
I have been to a FFO without my car.I still had a blast.Last year, several people rented a Fiat 500 after flying in.Not necessary though. You will be just as welcome ,even if the car has to stay home!
I really feel this is going to be a epic FFO.Besides our cars,we are the centerpiece of a huge car show.Throw in vintage sports car racing (including hopefully,a all Fiat race) and we have a helluva event.

Craig, I am looking forward to seeing all of my fans in person 8) Booking the hotel tonight  I am driving down (hopefully with some friends) about an 8 hr trip and it is going to be awesome  I am super excited to have the opportunity to participate at this years event. Lots of prep and organizing to do for my first FFO and I know the forum will assist along the way. GoPro, Fiona and cash are ready for anything, it is going to be epic.
