Fantastic Craig! I wouldn't have been able to resist either, although your's shows up better than my red one would.
The hat, by the way was a Christmas present from my (then) 14 year old daughter. So, you know, I wear it to make her happy. (Yeah....right!) But hey, it doesn't blow off like a baseball cap.
You and the car are looking good!

Thanks ,John it does look good and easily removeable!! I saw your letter in Classic Motorsports mag.I got a free copy and it will be my last.Is there any British car that isnt mentioned 4 or 5 times in that mag? It is a shame ,that could be a really good publication. See you in a few weeks.

Yeah, as Bob can attest, I have contacted many auto pubs in an attempt to promote FFO. Classic has always focused on British cars, but some of their other coverage has been pretty good as well. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone in person at FFO! Though I have to admit I am still a little apprehensive about driving my Spider that far (I had intended to trailer it, but Mike Bouse's Great Cruise of '08 sounded too fun to pass up). I have installed so many new parts over the past several months and have not had a chance to put enough miles on it to be confident that everything is sorted. Every time I take it out for a drive, something else goes wrong. I drove it about 40 miles round trip to my daughter's softball game last week, and the fuel pump started buzzing -- so I bought a new one to install this weekend. I would have done it last weekend, but the family and I left for Hilton Head on vacation last Saturday morning. So I get to drive for 12 hours tomorrow, then get up Sunday to install more Fiat parts! I just hope I make it there and back...

The Great Bouse Cruise sounds like it would really be a lot of fun.I am going to trailer mine to FFO.It's a 800 mile one way trip from here and I feel the car would be fine, but w/o any other cars to ride with and no support I feel better towing it.My wife can't make it ,so my son Geoff is coming along.I'm hoping you or some other F.I. owner will have time to drive my car and give me some feedback.I have only ever driven 1 other Fiat,so mine may be a dog and I dont know it!
