the overheat light is in the gage itself.

what about changing connector between sensor and results?

the light sensor is a straight on/off switch. Your gage would go from nothing to everything as soon as it overheats.

i didn't swap the sensor, only do cabling..
in my uderstanding if cable which was in the past responsible for the temperatur measuring is disconected now the temprature indicator on a gauge shouldn't move any where just lie on 120degree F. And if i connect cable responsible in the past for the light to the sensor, the light should be on /off...
on the movie guy said that if we mix the cable, cars start to ovearheat so simmilar to my situation..

in my opinnion it's more propably that somebody mix the cables on the gauge not on the engine//
